When we first running a lab. It's a brand new lab.
I was just retired from my last job
We believed and followed all the suggestions and advises
from our partner KONICA (We join the chain store so call KPE)
QD21 will fit all your needs, It is expensive (5 million NT$ dollar=5/35 M US$ )
but it worth said by sales of Konica.
That time we did not know what is quality
until our customer teaching us.
Two weeks after installation of QD21
problems comes one by one.
When we or konica Tech. said repair or adjustment
and open the brand new cover. and look inside the QD21
scratch, old material, racks... show this is not a new machine.
of course we return the machine immediately.
Konica give us a very brand new DEMO machine QD21 for instead.
But all the old problems also still the same.
scratches, lines, paper jammed, chemical jammed. bad quality...
our customer paid the money and left the photo for us.
Konica promised to solve the problem and improve the quality but need times.
and business still has to be running
following are our solutions come from KONICA
so, They persuaded us to install a NPS878 and can be free used for one year
and said...
If they could not improve and solve the problem of QD21 they will take it back
with no any charge. and If QD21 was improved and test OK they will take NPS878
back also no any charge.
No problems for us, We believed KONICA (An international Enterprise)
But after 3 month calibration and improvement
(including 2 professional Tech. come from Konica Japan)
Konica still can not solve the problems.
or let's said even did not understand why and what caused these problems.
PS1 : As our lawyer points of view now
Konica knows the problems very well. but
Konica do not want us to know and understand.
We bought the QD21 with following terms
1. First time paid 2.38 million NT$ dollars
2. Rest for 18 month period pay, each time 150 thousand NT$. if QD21 pass the
test.

Although QD21 did not pass the test
and it is about time to pay the first period pay,
Of course, sales head come to my lab and say I have to pay or the whole
deal will come into a law process.
This is really a surprise and make us angry.
but we still want to pay for one condition.
Replace my film develop machine QDF32U
because it cause so much spots, residues in the
film and that was just developed.
and their answer is simple .....
impossible, but they will sell it for me !!!!
(until now we still need to use alcohol to clean each film that
was just developed)
that make us to fire the very first lawyer letter to the Konica.
and explain our situation and angry.
Few days later...
a law representative of KONICA come to my lab..
PS2 :
KONICA used 2 ways method or maybe 3 ways, 4 ways to let you give it up
our experience is not to believe anyone that come from KONICA.
This guy came into my office showing a very friendly way
and said he was sent by the General manager Mr. lin of Ugem.
and been authorized to solve our problems.
and promised 2 things
1. KONICA WILL NEVER LET THIS EVENT GO INTO LAW PROCESS.
(We have an agreement and witness for both side)
2. KONICA WILL FOLLOW OUR WISH TO END UP THIS EVENT.
We simply want to return the QD21 to KONICA
He said yes, and will follow our wish.
Few weeks later (about 2 weeks) this guy came back and said
"Sales told him if we return the machine
KONICA WILL LOST THE MARKET ALL OVER THE ISLAND"
He is so friendly and you will never think about he
is lying and cheating to you.
what can we say !!!
so KONICA GOT ANOTHER 9 MONTH TO GO
(KONICA ASK TO EXTEND IMPROVEMENT TIME TO ONE YEAR.)
SO, We have another agreement. and he took back the
agreement for approved.
Of course, Konica still can not solve the problems
(due to the VFPH exposure technology has it's limit
of course KONICA could not solve the problem and because of the wrong mechanical
design of the paper transmission structure and the solid chemical supply system
damage the whole system's performance and caused so much defeats

During this time, (it is a honey day time)
QD21 super has been announced with
Q tech and G tech and sub-pc. Konica want us to swith
into QD21 super and pay them another 170k NT$ for upgrading.
But, after our test and inspection, We found that
1. plus and super has almost the same mechanical structure.
2. plus and super almost has the same problems.
so, We said "NO".
next month we received a lawyer letter from KONICA want us to pay the money.
and when we call the guy for help to keep his promise
guess what ? This guy run away already .
(he quit ? why question mark ???)
Two month later we received a letter from Taipei local court.
So, fighting is on the run.
PS3 : KONICA think about they have a very good relationship
with some political guys and the running owner also
have a very good relationship in local court.
They told me " We will never lost in the court".
Let's wait and see.

KONICA show her power almost in everywhere ....
Almost at the same time KONICA set up a brand new lab very near to our lab.
(about 350 meter)
equipped with QD21 super and very attractive price for customer.
(by now they support other lab to against her own chain store with 4x6 only 3NT$ = 3/35 US$)
after that and during the first trial stage
when we still paying KONICA over 200K NT$ dollars per month for the machine . paper and chemical ....
Konica give us a very special gift for us to remember them forever.
Konica go to local court and apply an order from local court to hold and Detains all our
property including our apartment, all most our bank accounts and our investment
in the stock market, except the account that currently paying KONICA money.
KONICA show her strength in everywhere including the both side lawyer
and the third party that should give us a very fair investigation of the machine in the court.
and the local court itself.
so we lost the first trial by no exam. or investigation the defeats of the machine.
